Divine Ikubor is a Nigerian sensational singer, rapper, songwriter, and stage performer. He is professionally known by his stage name Rema. He was born and raised in Benin city, Edo state of Nigeria.
Early life
He grew up singing and rapping while he was in secondary school. He started his music career in churches before he was discovered by D’Prince, the CEO of Jozingworld Records and a younger brother to Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavins Record.
Rema was born on 1st May 2000, the young artist, Rema, is just 22 years old (as at the year 2022).
Education
Rema attended the Ighile group of schools, Edo state where he attained his primary and secondary education.
On January 7, 2021, he made it known on Twitter that he gained admission into the University of Lagos, Nigeria. This is to fulfil his mother’s wish that he should get a degree.
Although Rema has lost his dad and his elder brother, he ensures he takes good care of his mother Mrs Ikubor while she’s still alive.
In 2017, Rema bought a 2020 Lexus RX 350 for his mother when he came back from Ghana.
In September 2021 Rema was unveiled as a brand ambassador for the popular soft drink Pepsi alonsgide his label mate Ayra Starr
Who Is Rema’s Girlfriend?
Rema does not have a girlfriend. According to him, he doesn’t want to play with other people’s emotions, especially ladies.
