Jae5: Biography

 

Jae5 is a British-Ghanaian producer and DJ who has made a name for himself in the music industry. Born in London, England in 1994, Jae5 grew up in a musical family and was exposed to a variety of genres from a young age. He began producing music in his early teens and quickly developed a passion for creating beats and experimenting with different sounds.

 

Jae5’s big break came in 2015 when he produced the hit single “Dance for Me” by Eugy featuring Mr Eazi. The song became a viral sensation and helped to establish Jae5 as a rising star in the UK music scene. He went on to produce several more successful tracks for Eugy, including “Body” and “Tick Tock”.

 

In 2017, Jae5 teamed up with fellow British-Ghanaian artist J Hus to produce the critically acclaimed album “Common Sense”. The album was a commercial success and earned widespread praise for its innovative blend of UK rap, Afrobeats, and dancehall. Jae5’s production on the album was particularly lauded for its unique sound and creative use of samples.

 

Jae5 continued to work with J Hus on his follow-up album “Big Conspiracy”, which was released in 2020.
